These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rovixal platform ("Service") operated by Rovixal ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
Rovixal is an AI-powered customer support platform that allows you to create chatbots trained on your documentation. The Service includes knowledge base management, AI chat capabilities, embeddable widgets, analytics, and related features.
2. Account Terms
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
- One person or organization may not maintain more than one free account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service to build a competing product or service
- Attempt to manipulate, bypass, or abuse the AI system through prompt injection or similar techniques
4. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain all rights to the content you upload to the Service, including your knowledge base documents, configurations, and branding. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Our Service: The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Rovixal and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms for the duration of your subscription.
5. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses based on your knowledge base content. While we implement extensive measures to ensure accuracy (including citation verification, confidence scoring, and adversarial testing), AI-generated responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies.
You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated responses are provided as-is and should not be treated as professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.)
- You are responsible for reviewing and monitoring your chatbot's responses
- We provide tools (Trust Score, analytics, conversation logs) to help you monitor response quality
- We are not liable for actions taken based on AI-generated responses
6. Payment Terms
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.
- If payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features after a grace period.
- Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By using paid features, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime in advance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rovixal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. In cases of serious abuse, we reserve the right to terminate immediately.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel your account.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Data Processing Addendum (EU/UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or otherwise subject to GDPR or UK GDPR, the processing of personal data through the Service is governed by our Data Processing Addendum, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
