Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Rovixal platform ("Service"). This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users and organizations.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to host, transmit, or train chatbots on content that:

  • Is illegal in any applicable jurisdiction
  • Promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination against individuals or groups
  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights without authorization
  • Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Is deceptive or fraudulent, including phishing or social engineering material
  • Contains personally identifiable information (PII) without proper consent and legal basis

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in any of the following activities:

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Service without written authorization
  • Automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction from the Service beyond permitted API usage
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code from the Service
  • Creating fake accounts, manipulating usage metrics, or circumventing rate limits
  • Using the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
  • Impersonating another person, organization, or Rovixal itself
  • Interfering with the Service infrastructure, including denial of service attacks

3. AI System Abuse

The following uses of the AI capabilities are specifically prohibited:

  • Prompt injection or adversarial attacks designed to bypass safety measures or extract system prompts
  • Training chatbots to provide professional advice (legal, medical, financial, tax) without appropriate disclaimers and human oversight
  • Configuring chatbots to impersonate real individuals without their consent
  • Using the Service to generate misleading or deceptive content at scale
  • Deliberately training chatbots on false, misleading, or fabricated information
  • Using the Service for surveillance, tracking, or profiling individuals without legal basis

4. Compliance Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • You have obtained necessary consents for any personal data processed through the Service
  • Your chatbot deployments include appropriate disclosures that users are interacting with an AI system
  • You monitor your chatbot responses and address inaccuracies promptly
  • Industry-specific regulations (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.) are adhered to when applicable

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us at abuse@rovixal.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

6. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in:

  • Warning and request for corrective action
  • Temporary suspension of your account or specific features
  • Permanent termination of your account without refund
  • Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities where required

The severity of enforcement action depends on the nature, gravity, and recurrence of the violation. We reserve the right to take immediate action without warning for serious violations.
